It is with great sadness that I must report the death of my oldest ferret,
Pippen. He was one of the four ferrets that I took in a couple of years
ago. I would guess him to be around 6 years old.

Yesterday (Sunday), I found him lying in a litter box. He couldn't get out.
I picked him up and I told my wife that I think this was it, although I had
just played with him that Friday and would have never guessed. However, for
about 2 months I had a gut feeling that this was coming. I just didn't know
it would be so sudden.

Anyway, I took him downstairs and held his hand expecting him to go really
soon. He didn't. He kept hanging on and acting like he didn't want to go.
So, about 11:45 pm last night, we rushed him to the emergency room. They
had him on fluids all night. I was to pick him up and take him to our
ferret vet. However, about 8:45am this morning, the doctor called with the
bad news that he'd passed away.

I'm very depressed but I do feel that he lived a long life and I am grateful
for that.

We love you Pippy....

Minx, Bear, Kyland, Shelly, Sassy, Rocky, Junior, Missy, Sadie, Spunky,
and Rascal.

And Roger, Linda, and Lee Jay.

Now, you will be playing around the Bridge.
