To Dee McNally: Wait a minute -- are you saying that when you get home and
let your ferret out, you then immediately put him in another separate room
or space apart from you?  If that's the case, it's no wonder he's wistful --
he wants you to play with him and spend some time with him!  Ferrets are
naturally inquisitive and social; if you're home, he wants to be with you!
