You might want to consider switching him to a raw/whole prey diet and
completely eliminating kibble from his diet, as the kibble could well
be causing his IBD. I have read of a number of ferrets who were
completely cured of IBD when switched over to a natural diet, and
others who did much better on it to the point that their medications
were greatly reduced or not needed at all.
