I dont know if this is the same people but I got four ferrets this
past august from a man named Jean.  The name on the papers is lakeside
ferrets.  None of mine have tatoos and I also have an adopted ferret
named xander that is from this man and has no tatoos.  All four of mine
were very bad biters when I first got them.  A blaze and a black eyed
white are deaf.  The blaze is a boy not a girl and he was the worse biter
now he just nibbles.  They are all four as sweet as they can be and are
very healthy chubby little things.  All are very good with my son and he
was the first one to handle them and not get bitten and we did not even
know he was doing it.  He brought one up to me in the middle of the night
and said look mommy mindy dont bite anymore.  go figure.  Anyway when you
said both were deaf and one was a black eyed white,.  and no tatoos Jean
came to mind.
