And what bothers me as much as the idiot owners or the pet store who sold
the ferret to them, is the vet or shelter who euthanized the ferret.  These
are people who are supposed to know and care about animals.  Sounds as if
the female was showing normal behavior toward a new 'intruder.' Or what if
she was acting 'aggressive' because of an adrenal tumor?
 
Sandee, another little one to look out for, and please make sure she has a
nice new name too.
