Hi:

I don't subscribe to the FML these days, but I'd like to ask you all to put
in a little prayer for my little girl, Wompy. About 2 weeks ago, I found
her darn near dead in shock from insulinoma.

Here's my story:

I had left her out to play for a while & when I went to check on her, she
was really lethargic. I picked her up & she was limp. Needless to say, I
got a tad bit upset. When I put her down, she tried to move, but her back
legs wouldn't move. I started to cry like crazy & immediately called the
doctor.

Well, my doc was on another line & the one who picked up scared the hell
outa me by telling me she was dying. He told me (obviously) to get her to
an emergency hospital &, in the meantime, give her some honey or caro syrup.
Of course, I couldn't find the honey, so I was near spastic by the time my
doc called back.

I finally found some honey & put some into her mouth. She was just lying on
my bed drooling & barely breathing. But I put her in her traveler & took
her to see Dr. Weiss in Potomac, MD. An hour later, when we arrived @ Dr.
Weiss's office (thank you so much for sticking around & waiting for me!),
she was up & running again. I was so happy I was almost hysterical.

Well, anyway, this Friday, Wompers is going into surgery to remove tumors
from her pancreas. If you could all say a little prayer for her, I'd really
appreciate it. Wompers has always been a little miscreant, so she wasn't
always too sociable w/ me - which was fine; I came to accept that - but I've
come to find that I'd do anything for her to make sure she's ok. So, wish
her luck this Friday morning.

Thanks!
