Thank you to everyone for the responses to my frightened ferret post.
They were great. I need advice again. (I'm a worrier; what can I say)
My problem is this: I have a hard time clipping the kids' nails. I know
to stay away from the quick (the pink part) of the nail and that they
need to be trimmed quite frequently. I hate doing it. Sometime they
yelp when I cut even though I am not clipping too deep. Is that normal?
Am I doing it wrong? I use the clippers made specifically for ferrets
with the rounded tip. Is it possible it could be dull? When I took
them to the vet for a check up the vet did it so quick and there wasn't
a peep from my fuzzies. I have to do it in a couple days. Any advice
would be great.
