Maybe someone can help.
Emmett gave me a scare recently. The other night when I got home
from work I went to scoop poops and he'd had diarrhea so bad I could
hardly tell which clump was which.
That evening at intervals he produced the oddest-looking little
orange poops--like slices of half-melted Dreamsicle--tiny, runny, and
not much bigger than my thumbnail.
He wouldn't eat his ferret chow or cat crunchies but he did wolf
down lefse.
Next morning there were only sad skinny pooplets in the box. I told
him he'd better eat a lot and poop a lot or he'd be at The Vet's.
When I came home from work I was *so* happy to see the usual heap
of normal-colored fat healthy poops! He'd eaten considerable and seemed
his usual exuberant self.
   Anybody know what happened?
A day before, I put on the harness and leash and took him outside,
and then put miticide in his ears and gave him a bath, and he was a tad
lethargic that night but I figured he was exhausted.
Also, a few days before, the library cat had a horrible poop and also
threw up.
I don't know if Emmett's problem was connected to any of the above. He
hadn't had any ice cream or yogurt, either. He was normal this morning. I
never thought I'd be so happy to see a bunch of poops!
   Insight is appreciated. Thanks!
