This is for any vets who may be lurking out there.
 
I recently lost one of my ferrets to a liver problem that my vet couldn't
diagnose.  I have my suspicions that it could be alcohol related.  The
previose(sp?) owners admitted to feeding him alcohol (beer,whiskey) from
time to time.
 
My question is: could alcohol consumption have contributed to his early
death?
 
I read a post recently from someone who feed their ferret Bacardi and coke.
I was wondering if this person has anything to worry about.
