I have the sweetest little fert, but when she starts chewing on a sock or
other similar object, she will become the wrath of god and draw blood with
her little omnivorous teeth if you get in the way.  It's an instantaneous
change in personality and it scares me.  Is this just an instinct to protect
food or something?
