Oh - and I forgot to add:
 
How hard is it to find a vet in a state where ferrets aren't legal?
What can happen if one is caught with a ferret in above state?
If someone is severely allergic to cats, is it likely they'll be allergic
to ferrets?  (He's handled one briefly without any trouble)
