To Whom It May Concern:
 
The length of the ferret swimming course and the length of the land speed
running course has been erronously given as 12 feet.  This 12-foot length is
wrong.  The correct course length for both courses is 25 feet; i.e., the
length of the swimming course is 25 feet as is the length of the running
course.
 
For the metric ferrets, the 25 feet translates to 7.62 meters, 762
centimeters or 7.62 X 10 to minus 3 power kilometers ( 0.00762 km).
 
For the avoirdupois ferrets, it's just 25 feet. (Are French ferrets
avoirduporis?  Hmmmm?)
 
Ferrets NorthWest FNW regrets this error.  Hopefully all personnel who have
the need to know will be made cognizant of this correction.
