I have been transferred to CA, and we have three ferrets.  We are planning
to keep them anyway and make the best of it.  I am just interested in what
advice people would offer, and especially what I can expect when we bring
them in.  We'll be driving in from the Midwest.  I've heard that cars with
out-of-state plates are stopped at the border, probably to check for
agricultural contraband, and I don't know how that checkpoint would affect
our transport of our ferrets.
