Yes, males come into season in early Spring (Feb/Mar) and stay that way
until Fall.  Sometimes they pop out for a month or two, but 6 months out of
the year is a pretty certian given they will be in season.  But just ask any
breeder and they will tell you that more than once, the male they wanted to
breed with the jill was not ready, and they had to go to another male....
