Many thanks to all those who so generously supported our inaugural
Friends of Ferret Shelters Valentine's Day 2007 raffle benefiting
the FerretsFirst shelter of Annandale, Virginia
( <http://www.ferretsfirst.org/> ). The net amount raised after PayPal
took its bite was $251.89.

February's raffle items and the winners are:

Valentine's Day 2007 Gift Basket..Russell and Claire Kenmuir..(The
Kenmuirs, who live in Scotland, asked that the basket be sent to
FerretsFirst shelter operator Robin Hochgertel. Robin, we hope the
basket makes Valentine's Day a little 'sweeter' for you and the
furkids in your care. :))

"Livin' in Luxury" Valentine's fleece hammie set..Bonnie Russell

Big Box 'o Toys..Clover Williams

Handmade denim-backed fleece cage mat set..Gail Elsey

"Sweet Peas for your Sweetheart" Bath & Body Works gift set with denim
tote..Bonnie Russell

Thanks again to everyone who helped make our first raffle a success!
Soon, we'll update our web page at www.shelterfriends.blogspot.com
<http://www.shelterfriends.blogspot.com/> with a whole new set of
raffle prizes for March. Surprise your beloved "Wild Irish Rose" with
a gorgeous 14k gold rose pendant, or celebrate St. Patrick's Day with
a "green" basket of goodies sure to make your furkids dance with glee.
You won't want to miss our huge gourmet breakfast basket, either,
honoring the tradition of maple sugaring in the North woods.

There'll be much more to choose from. As always, every dime of the
proceeds (after PayPal fees) will go directly to benefit a ferret
shelter. Stay tuned!
