Good afternoon,

We got a call from Douglas County Animal Control about 2 ferrets that were
turned in by their owner. We are planning to pick up these 2 on Sunday but
it occurred to us that, in the meantime, there might be someone out there
with a big heart who is looking to add to their family and would be able to
get them into a permanent home sooner than we might be able to.

The male is 6 years old and, based on the description, seems to be adrenal.
The female is 4 years old and seems to be in good health. They don't have
to go together. The female was acquired as a companion for the male but he
doesn't like her and they are being housed separately. Some supplies,
including a cage, were dropped off with them.

We would like to avoid stressing these 2 (especially the male) any more
than necessary and we feel that skipping the "foster home" step would be in
their best interest. If anyone reading this has room in their heart and
home for an additional ferret or two please call Douglas County Animal
Control at: 770-942-5961 and ask to speak to Sheila or Mae.
