Early morning at the Rainbow Bridge has Muldoone at his appointed spot
awaiting the arrival of a little blaze fuzzy girl named Anya Belle.
 
The music in the wind had begun to change and the sad sweet melody could
be heard dancing softly on the breeze.  This song played for each and
every arrival, whispering to their hearts; "rest now wee-one you are
home." Muldoone felt the familiar tingling in his whiskers and he knew
another was coming.  The music of the wind danced around him, singing of
welcome and loss, of love and longing.  It sang of the promise that love
was eternal, and it sang of the pain of separation and the sorrow of
humans.
 
The flash of light subsided and then Mully heard the unmistakable sounds
of ferrety feets coming across the planks of the Bridge; the moonbeam
express having delivered another ferret whose time on earth had been cut
short.
 
Mully steps forward to greet the new arrival.  "Welcomes to da Wainbow
Bwidge Anya Belle, I be Mr. Muldoone, officialist Bwidge Gweeter." and
Mully leans forward offering his nose in greeting to the little girl
ferret.
 
The new arrival sits down and looks all around at her new surroundings.
Wow she exclaims dis pwace be purrdy!!  How dooes you knows my name?
the new comer asks Muldoone.
 
It bees my job to knows yur name, yur name and da name of ebbery fewet
awibing heres" Muldoone tells her.
 
"Misser Muldooniest, the little blaze girl beings to speak, I misses
my mom and dad a bunch and I be sures dat dey be missin me she told
Muldoone.  I bees sick for a while but I feelin better now" and to prove
her point the little blaize girl leaped high into the air and did a
perfect four-paw landing and immediately went into some wild alligator
rolls followed by a chorus of dooking.
 
"Ifs yu wants to, I can teaches you how to go and peeks in on your
familee and shows you how to sends em whiskerie kisses to dem.  Dey
tinks dat dey be dweaming it and it makes da hooman mom and dads happy
whens we do dat and da name be Mr. Muldoone" Mully tells the little girl.
 
"Sur, I wants to wearn dat and den I wants to wearn......." and off Anya
Belle goes into her list of all the new things she wants to learn and do
since arriving at the Bridge.
 
Passing his buddy Flash on the path returning from the Bridge, Flash
overhearing the new arrival telling Muldoone all the new things she
wants to learn, sounds like Mully is gong to be busy for a while.
