Hello everyone -
 
My SO and I are new ferret owners - Accolon joined us in November of last
year.  We're planning on getting him a buddy once our extra-fund grows a
bit, but for now, we're wondering if there are any people on the North
Shore in Massachusetts who would like to get together so Ack could get
reaccustomed to being around other ferrets.
 
Also, I was wondering if anyone had any ideas on how to keep a ferret *out*
of a leather couch.  It's not like most other couches in that it's not
"solid" so he can crawl into it very easily.  We're worried about him
getting injured on staples or getting squished, so mostly we just try to
watch him and pull him off the couch whenever he gets on it.  We've tried
stuffing blankets under the cushions in front of the cracks in the couch,
but he just burrows around them.  Any suggestions?
