Poor little Merlin!  I'm so glad they took out that eraser.  That sounds a
lot like what happened to Esperanza a couple of years ago.  She had a piece
of rubber lodged in her small intestine and nearly died -- she couldn't eat,
couldn't drink water, couldn't vomit, couldn't go to the bathroom.  I'm so
glad you were able to get Merlin to the vet and have the obstruction removed.
