To Ashley Johnson who is hoping to bring home that first ferret in November,
I would like to contribute one little piece of advice: before you do, locate
a vet who will not only discuss ferrets with you but who is knowledgeable
and experienced in treating them.  This is extremely important, as ferrets
can require some specialized care that may mean the difference between life
and death.  Don't risk depending on a vet who does not like ferrets!!
