I'm usually a lurker but I just have a few things to say about Modern
Ferret to ferts@webtv and everyone else. First of all, I like to see
pictures of Mary, Eric and their family because I feel like part of a
community and I feel like I know them a bit better. Why should the
creators of such a community oriented magazine be anonymous? What should
they be hiding? Their hard work and love of ferrets? I think NOT! And
the articles are not about Mary & Eric, and I wouldn't care if they were!
I like to know about what they do so well!! I enjoy reading articles by
Mary & Eric and I feel that I can trust them because of their openness and
I feel that I know more about who they are and what experience they have.
I don't think any Modern Ferret Subscriber/Reader is bothered by
"complaints" about their lack of sleep. I think we all have learned and
appreciate how much hard work is put into producing M.F. I had no idea
what all was involved in making a magazine work. And as far as the delays
in receiving the magazine- I am happy as long as I get M.F. I love the
magazine and I wouldn't change a single thing except maybe make it about
40 pages thicker!!! I can't believe someone would bash what these people
have accomplished and you can't even compare the value of knowledge in M.F.
to those other so-called ferret mags. I am a very open-minded person and
I read the other mags to give them a chance and the info was so
uninteresting, generic and repetitive that I lost interest. It's nice that
they attempted to do something about ferrets but I think Modern Ferret is
way more involved! I'll jump down from my soapbox now. Thanks!

Love to all of you from Kimberly and her Heavenly Seven!
