Ferret bedding can be made out of untrimmed fleece with no sewing
involved.  Fold a 2-yard piece of fleece to fit the cage's sleeping area
and ferrets will burrow in.  Raw-edged fleece doesn't unravel and it can
be washed in hot water and machine dried on a low temperature setting.
