I dont post that much but was curious if anyone else had heard anything
about a plan to move a colony of prairie dogs from Littleton, Colorado to
end up as black-footed ferret food in Arizona. It seems they needed to
relocate approximately 500 prairie dogs because of a development. And
their only solution seemed to be to relocate them to Arizona to feed the
black-footed ferrets there. They did say that they would make sure the
prairie dogs were healthy and disease free. The ferrets are part of a
captive breeding program being conducted by the Arizona Game and Fish.
The article also said that prairie dogs are a good candidate for
endangered status. The article also said that the only other option was
to exterminate the prairie dogs. Just thought I would pass this on to
everyone.

I am going to be getting a puppy this week and was wondering if anyone had
any suggestions on introducing my 2 wild fuzzy's to the puppy??

Thanks a bunch.
