I just wanted to add my 2 cents- I am all in favor of waiving the posting
limit if Dr. Williams has time to post more than 3 in a day. It doesn't
affect me- there's no way I'd be posting more than 3 anyway, so I don't
care that there will be an exception to the rule.

I agree with the person who said that we should all consult our own vets in
an emergency, but I don't think that precludes us from waiving the limit
for Dr. W. His advice isn't a replacement for emergency medical treatment,
but that doesn't mean it's not extremely helpful. Unfortunately, a lot
of us don't have vets who know anything or much about ferrets, so we may
take our pets in to them for a true emergency, but some additional quick
professional advice in a time of need is a great help and could help us
save some ferret lives- I think we would all be in favor of that, and I
don't see any harm in waiving the limit for him. I think we're incredibly
lucky to have a vet so knowledgeable about ferrets contributing to this
forum.
