Hi everyone!

I am from Eastern Europe, Hungary, where ferrets have just begun to become
popular. Unfortunately there are many misbeliefs about them, and also lack
of knowlegde.

Almost all ferret owners do not know that the little fuzzies need to be
vaccinated against canine distemper and rabies.

In our country vets usually use NOBIVAC vaccines in dogs and cats, but
nothing in known about the use in ferrets.

Can anyone (preferably a vet) tell me whether this vaccine can be used,
or what are the attributes of the useful vaccines (Eg. modificated, live
or killed virus, should it be chick embrio substrate etc.)?

Thank you.
Tunde
