To Bob Rhode:

Yes, Bob, I've noticed that my ferrets have not really stopped shedding
this year! In fact, Elliott just spent a couple of days in the hospital
because I was suspicious that he had an obstruction. Elliott is a little
angel and doesn't eat junk - rubber, shoes, blankets, etc, but he had all
the signs and symptoms of an obstruction. Well, after some laxatone and
fluids, he passed a rather hefty hairball! My vet was shocked. Not so
much at the hairball but because Elliott is the third ferret in recent
weeks with this same problem!!!

We don't know what to attribute this to, but I have beefed up the laxatone
with everybody - even the cats!
