Hi Ya'll,

Well, trying to clear up yet another mess of mine. I seem to have a bad
case of take pedal appendage and insert into oral cavity.

When I said I was asked to butt out, I meant it in a polite way. That
terminology was mine, not anyone else's.

I was actually told that my actions may have been premature and may be
mistaken for trying to start a rival organization.

I have seen well meaning, dedicated people destroy volunteer groups due to
infighting and territory wars. I did not want anyone to get the impression
that I was trying to start any of this. I thought the best course of action
for me to take was to remove myself altogether, thereby nipping any of this
in the bud.

I want it to be understood that I did this to avoid any conflict, or
apperance of conflict, with anyone or any group now being formed.

I was not asked by Bob Church to withdraw my offer. I have said before, and
I will gladly say again, the man has been a very good friend of mine and has
given me support through some of my difficulties recently.

I cannot think of anyone better than him to help in the creation of a
national ferret organization. He is, very simply, the most knowledgable
person I know on the subject of ferrets. He cares for all animals a
tremendous amount, and is loved by them too.

Bob is probably the most intellegent and insightful man I have ever met in
my life. As I have said before, he has more courage and heart, in many
respects, than any person I have ever known. I am very glad I have had a
chance to know him.

One of my biggest problems is, quite frankly, I am somewhat naive about
people and how something I say in innocence might be misconstrued. I don't
have the ability to edit what I write for things I cannot concieve off. And
in my enthusiasm, sometimes this gets to be a bit of a problem.

I thank everyone for their patience, and again I apologize for this
misunderstanding. I do not want to be the source of conflict or
misunderstanding for anyone, especially Bob.
