OK, I think this is pretty funny. But guys, you know how you are
about--you know--so you might want to skip this one.

This morning when I went into the ferret room, I found both a small
puddle and a trail of semi-dried frank blood. PANIC TIME!!!!

I didn't think it could be Alfie--his would be black and besides, I'd
already started the carafate and the recent poop I'd seen from him and
been brown, albeit liquid. I checked anyway. Nothing. I remembered that
there had been a squabble in the middle of the night and I'd separated
the two perpetrators. Maybe one had been injured?!?! I checked them.
Nothing. I ran around hyperventilating for a little while, checking
every ferret, trying to keep track of which I'd checked while running
through all possibilities. Nothing. Then I calmed down, got systematic,
and checked again. Nothing. At about this time I noticed more frank
blood that hadn't been there before. Hmmm! All ferrets were in their
cages.

Yeah, some of you know what's coming. So then I noticed that--you know
(girl stuff). Unscheduled--you know. And during the night when I'd
broken up the squabble I must have been--you know.

So, no major injuries and you know that's a relief. Ain't womanhood
grand? (And, guys, I warned ya!)
