Dear Sandee,

As his previous shelter mom, I am taking it upon myself to ask you to
greet Calvin, a little fella with a speckled nose who has had many
mommies in the past couple of years and who left us this morning.

Abandoned and left for dead, rescued by a neighbor, turned in to a
shelter and adopted by a wonderful Mommy, this little man had a much
tougher life than he deserved and at the youthful age of three, was
found to be full of masses throughout his body. His Mommy and shelter
mom met at the clinic this morning to help him move on to the next phase
of his journey and that wonderful place where he can be play endlessly
and be healthy.

Cal was particularly fond of hidey holes and rubber squeaky toys.....the
kind ferrets can only play with under close supervision by their hoomans.
His hot dog squeaky was treasured above all others when he was at the
shelter.

He left his brother Sam behind and we want him not to worry about Sam, we
will be sure he's OK and that he has someone to play with.

I know that you, Sandee, will know exactly where to go and what to do
with Calvin once he comes across the bridge. Not too long ago, you
greeted one of our shelter residents, Houdini Ferret. Although Calvin
has not been at the shelter for several months, I know that Houdini and
Cal will recognize eachother and she would help you welcome him and
introduce him to the many, many others who have left our shelter for
the bridge.

Your Momma, Tonya, is going to miss you very much Cal as will I. Be
healthy and happy little Calvinator.
