Please don't forget the people who travelled across the country to rescue
the 235 Utah ferrets, or the people who are now caring for them.  None of
them had all the resources that have been needed to pay for the
transportation, surgeries, medications and supplies.
 
Some of these rescuers have come to a point where they are having to
choose between buying their own food or buying what the ferrets need.
Quite a few ferrets are waiting for surgery.
 
Could 300 of you spare $10?  Or could 150 of you spare $20?  We really do
still need at least that much to cover the costs.  You can't count on the
other guy to do the giving ... those people have already given, and we are
so grateful that they have.  Their gifts have given these ferrets a start
at a new and better life.
 
The FML raised over $6,000 at the beginning of this year and covered every
cent that was needed for surgeries and supplies for the 103 ferrets of the
NJ Xmas rescue.  I hope you will want to find a few dollars for the Utah
ferrets, too, when you understand that we have raised half that amount for
twice the number of ferrets.
