I have a question regarding hind-leg weakness in ferrets. It is Linus,
my 7 1/2 year old critter, he's been medicated with immuran and octogal
for 3 years now. Last labs done, September 2002, indicated he was on the
verge of developing insolinoma (blood sugar-wise, he was borderline).
Question is, he's shown hind-leg weakness several times (he looks like
he is dragging his belly across the floor like he needs to wipe after
peeing), but then it goes away. Does that mean anything, or when people
refer to hind-leg weakness, does it come and go in their ferret too?

He's always been such a happy go lucky ferret, sometimes he comes out of
his cage and runs around, checks things out, climbs into the tub to drink
water (he loves that), then sometimes, he literally falls out of his cage
and half drags/half waddles around.

Anyway, if anyone does/can respond, could you please respond to my email
address, I don't have actual access to the fml itself at this moment.
