My Charlie reacts to squeaky toys by biting. We thought we cured him of =
that
my offering treats whenever I squeaked the toy, but recently he bit me tw=
ice. =

I thought the first time he was just getting my attention to give him a t=
reat,
but the second time I had the can of treats open and held down for him an=
d he
lunged over the can and bit me, drew blood through a plastic glove. I thi=
nk he
has a learned behavior from his first owner. I wonder if they teased him=
 with
the toy and then hurt him. I use the toy to call everyone for bed. I kn=
ow he
isn't protecting anything.
Charlie isn't all monster though, sometimes he is sweet and funny. Charli=
e is
a ferrets ferret not a people ferret. He refuses to me give kisses. It'=
s
really funny to see him refuse to give me a kiss, but the other day I too=
k him
outside, something he had never done with his first owner, he was scared =
so he
kept getting in my lap. He wanted in my shirt. He then crawled up to my =
face
and gave me lots of kisses and licks! Then he fell asleep under my shirt=
 and
in my lap.
Angela, they always find ways to surprise you. =
