I was just sent some items from a friend in PA.  I don't know where she got
the packing peanuts, but they were the potato/starch kind.
 
I touched one to my tongue and it dissolved - no taste.
 
I put one in a dish of water - it dissappeared when immursed.
 
If a ferret ate some of this, it wouldn't even be filling - it just dissolves
into practically nothing.
 
Thought you all might like to know.
