I checked out this supposed "ferret" too.  It definitely looks like a skunk
to me.  It is entirely possible that it is a white skunk.  I have seen
several color variations in skunks, including some that are a light
chocolate color instead of black.  The most obvious difference in the photo
that leads me to believe this is not a ferret is the shape of the head and
the way in which the forehead dips down to the ridge of the nose.  A ferret
normally has a fairly straight slope from the forehead to the nose.
Sometimes there may be a slight dish, but not that prominent.
