You took with you
A large chunk of my heart
The memories sustain me
We're never apart
 
For 7 short years
You stayed with me
I fought back the tears
When God set you free
 
Your spirit went soaring
Like a bright shining light
I held you so gently
And kissed you goodnight
 
Now I must consciously
Not call out your name
Or search for you sleeping
My life's not the same
 
You were so special
My little Spot man
I'll miss you forever
Till we meet again
 
Goodnight my sweet baby. You affected our lives in ways you'll never know.
