I just want to add to the ferret people list:
 
1.  we habitually take our shoes off at the door so as to not step
        on our fuzzies with them.
 
tieke is home now and we're force feeding him baby food (gerber turkey),
trying to get some mashed/wet totally ferret into him, and force feeding him
water.  he's doing really well.  he's really alert (when awake).
 
anything else we're missing for his recovery?
