Since getting a ferret I tend to notice weasel and ferret appearances and
referances more often on TV.  In spite of the claims of the W.R.O.  most
mentions of weasels are neutral in character.
 
Ferrets have appeared (besides on the beastmaster) on Northern Exposure
during an episode where the doctor hallucinates after eating bad salmon,
they are also mentioned in an episode where the ex-broker now trapper is
telling how he uses a computer to track the price of ferret pelts (note:
there are no wild ferrets in AK).
 
Weasels appear from time to time on the cartoon Eek the Cat, such as "The
Shaved Weasel Petting Zoo", "The Shaved Weasel Protection Act from President
Perot", and Willy the Weasel who runs over the Evil Elk in his monster
truck.  A weasel also appears in the Addams Family Cartoon episode "NJ
Addams" when Uncle Fester yells "Incoming Weasel!" during a family brawl.
Uncle Fester also has a family of Weasels living in his overcoat.
 
Ferrets get mentioned on Babylon 5 when Marcus decides to see if Susan is
listening to his status report by remarking, "...and I also have a pack of
badgers living in my pants, or would you prefer ferrets."
 
On Married With Children, fillet of ferret is served at the Wanker Family
Reunion.
