I'd like to thank everyone for the responces to my post on "LINE
BREEDING/IN-BREEDING by direct e-mail and on the FML. I have to be
honest, "I AM" a ferret breeder and have been since 1998. I wanted
to see how many other people realized that line breeding is still
in-breeding even though it's selective. I've talked to some vets, and
they agreed that if you put 2 of the same gene pool together it's STILL
In-Breeding. I was hoping that the breeder that we got JD (Jack Daniels)
from would have comented on the post, I was disapointed that she didn't,
as she does tell people that she doesn't line breed, but everyone knows
she does. If there is nothing wrong with "line breeding", I wanted to
know why she doesn't admit it. There were alot of coments on this
subject, but the consenice is that it is a wroungfull practice and
should not be done.

Again THANKYOU,
Debi
