I had change my ferret room (actually my living room and dining room)
around.  I felt it was to cramped when I was cage cleaning.  Now one of the
hidey holes is in the dining room (its an end table).  I move it to the
dinning room from the livingroom.  All of my ferrets have a special place
to hide their stuff.  Snicker's hidey is the one that got moved.  It has
been wonderful to watch them race across the room to take the toys from one
hole to the other while the others race behind.  Before the tables were
only a foot or so away.  Trooper likes to hide stuff under the chair that
was between the two end tables.  Last night Trooper had been picked on
badly by bubba and I thought I would give him a treat.  His fav thing to
hide is the tv remote, and since its just behind the chair I thought I
would let him have it.  (he never chews on it) Well to my surprise he took
off to the other hole.  It was so funny to see him run.  I yelled hey come
back here he dropped the remote ( I think I scared him) and before he could
get it back in his mouth I grabbed it.  I just never thought he would
change his hidey hole.  For 5 months he has had the same spot.  Snickers
moved with the end table, and the rest kept theirs.  I have to say it was
fun to watch poor Trooper with that remote.  I knew if he got it to the
hole it would be a lot harder for me to get it back.  What a sweetie.
 
Another kewl thing happened over the weekend.  I got to meet Jenifer Gall.
She writes the comic strip "not wild just crazy" I was so shocked when I
found out who she was.  We were talking ferrets and you know how ferret
lovers talk.  When the conversation got on the comic strip.  I was floored.
