first...i do not really want to get into the VA Beach deal...but one
part of it that people seem to be freaking out about is the frozen
ferrets...

good grief...*I* have frozen ferrets in my freezer!!!!...i can NOT be
the only one... granted i get them cremated before there are THAT
many...but why are so many freaking out about that? that was not / is
not abuse...i am pretty sure she did not put then there when they were
still alive!

people seem to be condemning this lady without knowing her... why can't
she just be a shelter who got in over her head and then got sick..and
could not correct the problem? why is she 'branded' a hoarder? the
ferrets that were put down...we ALL know that animal control wants to
do that BEFORE really finding out if it is necessary... the ferrets is
balding/bald...let's put him out of his misery... this one is blind...
same thing... etc...etc...

that is what they do...that is NOT what a shelter does...or ferret
people...we take them in...as did this lady...and we care for them as
best we can...get them medical help when necessary...when we can...

but what if one of the larger shelter operators got sick..one of the
ones that does not have much outside help...WHO WOULD KNOW? WHO WOULD
STEP UP BEFORE IT WAS TOO LATE? WOULD YOU CONDEMN THEM ALSO? CALL THEM
A HOARDER?

do any of you ACTUALLY KNOW this lady? or is this just from the news
reports that are NOTORIOUS for putting a "SENSATIONAL" spin on
everything?

yes...it is horrible that all those ferrets were killed after they were
confiscated...and that is what you are reacting to...it tears at ALL of
our hearts...

i am sorry...but this all seems so unfair to me...

i quit reading these posts...and the news reports...so...if this is way
out in left field because of something else y'all read that i did
not...please forgive me and ignore me...
