While young men and women are off fighting in mierable conditions at
great risk to themselves- for our safety and for freedom of speech; it
must still be a disturbing choice for BIG to decide at times what goes
through and what does not to reach our eyes and thoughts on the FML.
 
I would like to thank Mr. Church *profusely* for sharing his chicken soup
recipe with the world.  I feed my ferrets this soup every day, and think
it has prolonged their life---especially as they have gotten older and
weaker and needed a warm nourishing liquid soup to be syringe fed to
them.  Cheyenne eagerly slurps up this nourishment, but is too far gone
to eat kibble now.
 
Bob Church is like the guru of the ferret world to a number of us.  He is
brilliant, and humorous, loves ferrets, and shares his knowledge with all
of us.
 
Yesterday, someone on the FML wrote that a person had perhaps been doing
something dishonest with the entrusted body of her beloved ferret.  I
think it was important for this to be on the FML, as this person
certainly believes this as far as I could tell, and was actually trying
to warn us so we would not be put in a similar situation..  The rumors
were probably being spread all over before this hit the FML.  People love
to gossip--especially about the big fish in the small pond.
 
In another country-the authoritarian figure would not be refuted or
negated or questioned.  On another list-his honored presence might have
made him immune to any questions or complaints.
 
I think that BIG is ever better and better as our fearless democratic
leader.  And I hope that Mr. Church never leaves the FML again.  Whatever
the situation was-both sides have been read.  If more information of
importance is forthcoming-I trust that BIG will send it on.
 
It is a blessing, I believe, to have Bob Church on the FML.  I spend 5
hours every month cooking up huge batches of his soup to put in the new
gigantic refrigerator I purchased specifically to hold the soup he
created for ferrets.  I hope to meet Mr. Church someday at a gathering
of the FML.
 
It is an even bigger blessing to Know that democracy lives and breathes
on the FML.
