I would guess that the reason you are getting so many answers is because
nobody knows.  I'm sure that this shelter has some young ferrets in it
that have already been exposed to ECE, so if ECE is really what you had,
they should be safe to move in NOW.  If they are young, under a year, ECE
is not too serious anyway.  Booger had it at just over a year.  He only
showed symptoms for 2 weeks.  With careful selection, you can have some
ferrets now.
