Dr. Stuve did the exploratory and really found nothing that would be
obviously indicative of all th vommiting that Lucky has been doing. All
his internal organs looked fine. There was only some pinkish fluid found
in the abdomen that he said looked like kile which is a secretion of the
lymph glands. But that it should have not caused the problem. In the end,
after talking about it we made the decision to let him go. He had been
sick for so long and nothing was making him better. He had lost so much
weight and was fighting when being fed. I think that it would have been
unfair to try to keep him going. Dr Stuve offered to have some path done
on his intestines and stomach to see if it will help another ferret that
has the same problems. Lucky had served his purpose in this world. He
loved completely and trusted completely. Even after the horrible things
his previous owner had done to him. He was left in a cat kennel in an
apt when his owners moved out, the landlord found him several days after
they left with no food or water. He recovered beautifully and even came
through ECE.

I loved him and will miss him very much.

Thanks for your prayers, and they were answered. Lucky is in a better
place and he does not hurt anymore. He is being held in the company of
all his friends and in the presence of his Creator.
