I just wanted to let everyone know that Otis is doing better. I have him
on both meds now but I really think his food is helping him to and he is
finally starting to eat it a little on his own. The only problem is he
has gained about 2 lbs. Any ideas on how to keep him from getting so fat?

Just in case you dont remenber he was diagnosed with insulinoma about 2
months ago. He is on Pred and diazozide and he gets his kibble, baby
chicken and zupro vits three times a day. He just doesnt look so tired
anymore. I am happy.

Also, I wanted to ask everyone a very hard question to answer...I know
we all love our fuzzies and they are the greatest so I dont need any
answers like that but how many of you totally love your ferrets but have
experienced these awful diseases like insulinoma, adrenal and so many
other worse ones and have come to the conclusion that after your ferrets
cross the bridge you will not get anymore ferrets? I have to admit that
once my ferrets go I will not be getting anymore. But only because I
will be responsible and admit I cant pay the vet bills it takes to keep
them dooking.

Lisa
