I must admit that I am new to all this ferret ownership. I have my 2 dark
sable females Cleveland and Phoebe. Cleveland is 4 yrs old and Phoebe is
now 5 mo old. They get along so well!! I got Phoebe from a rescue group
and so I feel pretty good about that but I had a few questions.

First, what are "dooks"?? I keep reading people talking about "dooks" and
I have no clue as to what that is.

Also- is it safe for ferrets to eat fruits and veggies. I once had a vet
tell me no because it contributes to urinary trct infections and causes
obstructions. I fed them fruits for a short time and they loved it. I
read that lots of people give fruits and veggies with no problems. So are
fruits and veggies good, bad, or does it not matter at all?? Thank you for
any imput...............
