Ok, of all the locations mentioned for the symposium next year, Chicago
is the closest to me. Its hard living in Nebraska. Nobody wants to
visit here. I personally think Omaha would be a fine location for the
symposium. Omaha has world class hotels and a great airport, but isn't
too up on itself, so most of the time rates are very reasonable. And
its only an hour from me.

But, being realistic, I realize, as I said, nobody wants to visit
Nebraska. After all, if ESPN is to be believed, all we have here is a
football stadium, which is surrounded by corn fields as far as the eye
can see.

Someone today suggested Ohio, which would be nice, but my serious
suggestion is Indianapolis. Of course, I'm biased because it's a
day drive from my home and my In-Laws live there, so I'd have free
accomodations and a baby-sitter... But I also think it is a great city,
has lots of stuff to do, especially if you like flea markets, etc., and
is more centrally located than some of the other suggestions. I couldn't
make it to Vegas, and I couldn't make it to Atlanta, I most certainly
would NOT be able to go to Boston or Seattle, but I MIGHT, just MIGHT be
able to attend a symposium in Indianapolis. And for those Ohio folks,
heck, its hardly a short poke!
