>Question--what type of blood tests is used for the ADV? Serum, clotted, ?

The best test for ADV isn't a blood test at all. Avecon makes two test
that require you to rub their gums for a minute with a cotton swab. Then
you stir the sqab around in a little water. With one, you send the vial
of water to them. With the other, you apply it to the test yourself and
get an instant reading. Go to http://www.avecon.com to get their phone
number and such to order.
