With rats its the smell.  With people you just have to tell them that its
there.  Just think about it.  "Ewww, Yech"

Nope.  Any ferret can supply blood for any other ferret.  We as a breeder
feel it is our moral duty to allow vets to call upon us to provide our big
hobs as blood donors when needed.  The larger whole hobs are preferred by
vets such as Dr Kawasaki as donors.  This is one way breeders are of service
to ferret owners as a whole.
