Hi all,

I like to take my ferrets out for walks quite a bit and I'm concerned that
it is getting too cold for them. I live in Victoria, BC, so it will get a
little chilly (although nothing like you guys in Alberta and Saskatchewan
:-) in the winter months. Are there any recommendations as to winter
clothes for the ferrets?

I took a look at the sweaters and t-shirts and stuff on the Ferret Store
on-line catalog, but I suspect that anything that I have to put on over my
ferrets' heads will NOT go over well (getting their harnesses on is already
a small struggle :-). Are there any ideas or patterns out there for making
a little jacket with velcro closures? I'm not a great sewer (seamstress?)
so I do't like to attack projects like this without a pattern to go by.
Better yet, does anyone know of any ferret jackets/sweaters that can double
as a harness (with a clip on the back that I can attach the leash to, so
they don't have to wear both and I only have to go through one battle per
ferret)?

thanx in advance...

jackie
