I have to clarify what I said about the two magazines FERRETS and MODERN
FERRET.  I prefer the more adult oriented FERRETS, and this is what I
subscribe to.  However, when I tried to place a 1/4 page ad in each the
result was:
 
MODERN FERRET gave me the information, gave very good money saving advice
and had my ad accepted for the next issue within 2 hrs.
 
FERRETS responded to my phone calls, tried to have me make up the ad, and
in my opinion exhibited very poor customer service skills.  After over 1
week of waiting the department that was told to contact me has not done
so.  I did get a email from someone in charge there yesterday because I had
posted here.  But nobody has contacted me to get my ad.
 
I work as a customer service rep and if this happened I would be mending
fences so fast your head would spin.  Somebody dropped the ball and nobody
cares enough to pick it up and put it back in the game.
